Seth and Stephanie run Redemption Springs Farm in Finksburg, Maryland. Stephanie recently left her job to run the farm full-time. Seth works a full-time job in addition to running the farm. They practice regenerative agriculture in raising their cows, hogs, chickens, and other animals and in managing their fields. They also run a farm store where they sell beef, pork, chicken, vegetables, honey, cheese, milk, eggs, and more.
Stephanie gave us an overview of the farm when we arrived, then politely excused herself to get back to her chores. Seth said hello to us upon returning home from work and told us about their farm mission, farming practices, and farm store.
As dusk settled in, Seth and his young daughter accompanied the farm’s turkeys on their nightly walk from the field to the barn, a nightly routine that sent us to bed with smiles on our faces.
