We had 4 days in our nation’s capital. We saw monuments, museums and memorials. We reflected and did our best to wrap our minds around the reality that this epic and amazing journey, as all good things do, has come to a close.
There will be plenty more reflecting and writing to do as the dust settles. For now, it is time only to point homeward and do what we have done now for 11 months – enjoy the ride.
